1460 Basquiat

Exploding into the New York art scene in the early 80s, Basquiat’s legacy and presence is still alive today. And we’re continuing the legacy with another collaboration for AW21. Printing our 1460boot and our 1461 shoe with two of his most celebrated pieces,‘Untitled’ (1982) on the boot and ‘Pez Dispenser’ (1984) on the shoe, we’re paying tribute to the man that changed how the world looked at art.

Both pairs are finished with our iconic black and yellow scripted heel loop, sole pad print and a standout lace jewel, and arrive in bespoke packaging.

The 1460 boot is printed with Basquiat’s ‘Untitled’ (1982), across the quarters and sock liner. Built with a Black Smooth vamp and back strap, its detailed with Basquiat’s symbolic crown motif on the back strap.
